"Entertainment isn't enough?" All things considered, this wasn't a terrible idea from either a tactical or strategic standpoint. People inclined to suspect him relaxed when he was easily findable, or when they could believe someone was watching him. People not inclined to suspect him ended up edging towards a favorable opinion based solely in 'how bad can he be?'
Very bad. Of course. But they did not, as yet, need to know that. "I enjoy company and conversation, and I can read and think anywhere. Might as well do both here, don't you think?"
