Snow looked up from her lap, at first not finding Rocket with her gaze. All she had registered was that a voice had spoken and she dazedly looked up to where someone of an adult human's stature would be before lowering her eyes. She stared at him for a long moment, trying to see if she could form words, any words, even something so simple as a yes or no.

Eventually she gave up and gave a single creaking nod.
