Whatever words were stuck in Curnen's throat, Coby was confident they'd piss him off but not surprise him. He ran a hand over her back, slow strokes, warmth and hopefully comforting. "You want to get out of here?" It might make things easier, talking somewhere they were alone. Maybe outside, where her words were only for him and the night winds. But it was up to her.
