It was, probably, a good thing that neither Xavin nor any of the Runaways he knew best (he remained unsure about Gert, dead so soon after he'd met her) were given to philosophy. The idea that Xavin still possessed a mind, consciousness, senses, and will while physically in a form that should possess none of those things might have been worrying.
