Being a watchman was all about paying attention to the right things. Being able to walk down a street and pick out all the little things, sometimes without realizing it until they became important. So it was easy for Angua to notice that not only was the blonde in the corner of the café a new face, but she was a new face that had gravitated instantly to a seat in the corner with a decent view of the main entrance. Also, she had an expression like she was waiting for the world to make sense.

Angua could relate, certainly, but since the Inn's answers - such as they were - weren't readily guessable, she grabbed a couple of beers from the bar in passing (bottles, still sealed, and an opener as well) and took a seat across from the new blonde. "So, you're a new face!"
