Vax was as surprised to see the albino wiggle-noodle as it was to see him, when the both of them came around a corner and stopped to stare at the other. He'd never actually seen a wild animal indoors here, not even so much as a rat, which struck him as strange on its own. But even outdoors in the tall grass of the meadow, he'd never seen a snake quite like this. It was no bigger than his hand, as he caught it up for closer inspection, the snake curiously wrapping around his fingers and sniffing about, but not looking much aggressive or upset. It was really rather cute.

"Sister dear," he sing-song called over at her once he'd spotted Vex coming into the cafe, giving the noodle's head some soft little scritches with the pad of his gloved thumb. "Take a look at this! You think they're poisonous, or no?" He? She? Who knew with snakes?
