The tension, the hurt at being rejected dissipated and relief flooded through Caroline in its place. She didn't know what she'd have done if Lindsey had kept pushing her away. She was so lonely and she needed him so much. His kiss was everything she'd been missing. Why she hadn't seen that before, she didn't know and didn't care.
