Vax turned once he'd spotted her, deciding it was safe as it could get with so few people in the bar, and smiled softly as he took a stool beside her. "Promise I'm not here to go all hands on you," he reassured her. He'd endured enough of that already. "I only wanted to ask if you and your magic are faring any better than the rest of us."
