Liz felt like she should maybe smile because that usually defused misunderstandings, but at the moment she was still kind of stunned because you just didn't do that back home. Still, this was probably some cultural misunderstanding, or that's at least what she told herself because apart from it being weird in general, it wasn't exactly like she looked special in any way - unless the pink of the bag made her stood out among the others in the station.

Since she talked herself into believing this was a cultural thing, she forced a polite smile as she looked at the alien propositioning her. "Oh, um. No thank you. I'm - I'm not for sale, but, um. I appreciate the offer." Not that she knew what the offer was, really.

Liz felt so awkward, but she forced herself to turn and look back at the blue drink as if to say the conversation was done, but somehow that also made her feel rude and guilty.
