"Yetu," Peter says. "You mind if Liz and I go sit by the pool a little?" he says, gesturing to the pond.
"Don't mind, don't mind at all." Yetu says, turning around. It was clear he was still embarrassed, and Peter hoped some distance would help with that.
Peter leads her towards the pond and stops at an enormous purple-blue boulder nearby; it's the perfect height for them to sit down on, and it's close enough that they can still hear the trickle of water. He waits for Liz to sit down first, and then he sits down beside her.
"This is nice," Peter says. "We didn't really have any place like this in Queens. Even in Germany, I didn't really have a lot of time to sightsee." Mr. Stark had him back home pretty quickly after that big combat with the other half of the Avengers.
"But, I still want to take you on a date while we're here. A proper one."
