Corbie stretched her arms up over her head before she sat up, too. Her curls were mussed, but she didn't bother to smooth them. "He's a good kid." When he'd first arrived, all he'd worried about to her was the aunt he'd left behind and not wanting her to be alone. She couldn't believe he had a malicious bone in his body. "If he had the first clue he'd cut that deep, he'd be horrified."
