Things are really messed up in a lot of places and times.

Look. Just... Even if she will have been your kid, she's here with memories of the dad that raised her, that made that inhibitor for her. Be careful if you're trying to take his place. You could both end up hurt.

Not try to take his place? You aren't the man who kissed boo-boos or read bedtime stories or walked her to the bus to school, the man who fell in love with his baby girl the first time he laid eyes on her or held her and worried he was going to drop her. (Yeah, I know, spider reflexes. You get my point.)

Now she's here, you can be here for her, but you can't be him.

Losing my dad completely changed my life. Nobody could've taken his place. Not even a younger him.

I'm not trying to, it's just really complicated. She showed up at my door and asked for Peter Parker and asked if I were Spider-Man, and I really had no idea what to do. It's not something I ever expected to happen to me.

I'm going to try to talk to her tomorrow.
