Before anyone asks, Annie is my daughter.
Well, you're already ahead of me on that one then.
I suppose 'congratulations' is in order then.
I don't think that idea goes through any sixteen year-old's mind. That's a lot to take in. How did she handle it? You must be older when she knows you.
Well, she's here isn't she? And you're not the one to actually birth the kid so why not?
Thinking is going to be as good as it gets as a parent, I'm afraid. That's a lot of responsibility for you - you're sixteen, right? Or seventeen?
That's pretty young to be a parent, especially a single parent. They say it takes a village to raise a kid, and they're right. So maybe we can tweak that saying and say, it takes an Inn to raise a kid.
I probably won't be around when that happens. Think of it as congratulations-in-advance!
