So, I have a question. And I don't know who to ask.
When we arrived here, we were assigned certain rooms. Given the key and everything. What if... What if we wanted to change where we're sleeping? Can you do that or is that not allowed. I mean, this place can be pretty particular with the things it requires. And, clearly, it likes to have fun with us, even if we won't find it as funny.
I'm not as good at words as some.
What if two people wanted to share a room. Would they pick one of their own rooms? Would they have to take a new room? Like... Do we have to get permission from the inn manager or something?
[Bucky is pretty sure that his questions are going to come off as stupid, that it is information everyone should already know. Even if he doesn't know it.]
Who would I talk to about changing my room, I guess?

Thanks, punk.

You can always practice with me.
Re: [private]
So, what did you think? Do you have an answer to my question?
Private to Bucky
private
Yeah, kinda.
Re: private
You might try speaking to Valkyrie about the possibility of taking her room? If you think a pink monstrosity also occupied by a propriety-obsessed ghost addicted to rose perfume and disdain would be an improvement, that is.
Re: private
I think that might be worse. I'd rather live in the Steve Rogers shrine of red, white and blue than switch to cotton candy pink.
And yes, I was thinking of asking Steve to move in with me. Or I move in with him. I... I don't know how it would work.
Re: private
I think you or he just moves. Stark lives in Thor's room and uses his room as a work space, as far as I know.
Re: private
Didn't Tony have a cave or something? Thor's room is probably a bit of an improvement.
So, my room or Steve's. No third option... Okay.
Re: private
Stark's room is honestly not bad; it's not like humans haven't spent millennia living in rooms and buildings made of stone. Thor's is much worse, in my view, being neon green and covered in pink daisies.
Re: private
Neon green and pink daisies. I think I'd rather live in the cave.
[private]
But no, I don't have an answer to the question you posted here.
Re: private
Same! I remain grateful that my room is decidedly inoffensive.
Re: private
Might scare some people.
I'm a little envious.
Re: [private]
Hmm, your room or mine?
Yeah... I'm not sure there is a 'someone' to talk to about it?
[private]
Mine? I don't think it really matters.
I suppose we could ask the friendly clerk at the front desk for an extra key to my room, and then surrender yours.
Unless you want to keep it. Just in case.
Re: private
I would consider offering to share space, but I just gained a roommate and I'm not inclined to share further.
Re: private
Oh really? Care to share who your new living space dweller is?
Re: private
Valkyrie.

You could select someone in need of a companion and move in. That is what I did. Sam needed a sister, and I required a brother - as ours were not present at the time it seemed a logical solution. He only balked a little. Probably best to ask first.

If you try to change your room without moving in with someone else, you will find your things back in your room by the next morning at the very latest.
If you ask Darryl if you can have a new room, he usually ignores you. But there have been some room changes. Stephanie and Kitty, I think. Caroline and Regina would know.

Re: [private]
I don’t think I would need it?
Re: private
Really... Nice. You dog, you.
Re: private
I'm pleased with the arrangement. She seems to be as well.
Re: private
She is a good person, I think. I don’t know her very well. I’m happy for you.
Re: private
She is, yes. Despite that, we get on - clearly one of the universe's mysteries.
I think I'm happy as well, but how would I know?Thank you.Re: private
You're not as bad as you think you are. At least in my opinion.
You're welcome. Is it an odd feeling for you, being, well... Enjoying company?

I... I think I already have found a companion?

Re: private
In some ways, yes. I haven’t shared space full-time with someone else since Thor and I were small enough children to share a room.
Re: private
Do you like spending time with her? Does she make you smile?
Re: private
Oddly, yes to both, very much so.

Re: private
See, you're happy. It's a good thing.

Darryl fails at conversations with substance.
