The Slayer's Cake 2 is now open!

Stop by the bakery window in the Copper Cafe for treats, both sweet and savory. Fresh baked breads, croissants, cakes, cookies, pies, tarts, we can do it all!

Our daily offerings will usually vary based on our whims, but requests are always welcome.

Come by any day and grab something delicious. If no one's behind the counter, just help yourself!

For Valentine's Day, we're taking special orders! Menu items should be ordered on the page below by Tuesday, February 13th for delivery on the 14th. (But if it's a little late that's okay too.)

If you're looking for something extra special, stop by and talk to Pike or Rey directly

“That’s very kind of you,” she felt herself blush a little. She wouldn’t say it out loud, but she was very proud of how the bakery turned out and it made her happy that he would come to see it.

As he took a bite, she can’t help but bounce on her toes a little in anticipation, “How is it? Kash just asked if I could combine chilis and chocolate and I think that might be better than the cinnamon.”

"I love cinnamon, so this is fucking brilliant," Jag assured her, and swallowed the bite. The main flavours completely drowned out that of the weed, which was for the better, if you asked him. He loved smoking it, but he liked his cakes sweet rather than herbal. "But I wouldn't say no to chili and chocolate either."

"I'll have to call you down when I have a new batch to test," she picked up one of the brownies off of the tray, split it in half and popped it into her mouth, "After perfecting all of these flavors I spent a good couple hours just laying on the kitchen floor."

Jag's small smile stretched slightly. "It would be my pleasure, bab. Sometimes the kitchen floor's the perfect place to be."

"I'm not gonna lie, the cold tiles felt really good." She rested her chin in her hands, leaning on the counter, "Luckily the bakery has it's own kitchen, so I didn't have to worry about being stepped on."

"Good point," Jag agreed, "the main kitchens seem quite busy." He was thinking of Em again, but pushed the thoughts aside. "So it's not just you doing this? I don't know Rey." He'd read their name on the flyer, but that was it.

“Rey is wonderful,” Pike picked up a nearby mini cupcake and nibbled a bit of frosting, “She’s super smart and really eager to learn. I met her in the kitchen when she was trying to teach herself to cook. It wasn’t going very well, but she’s gotten really great at baking.”
