Some of Jane's memories were returning, thanks to Molly, and she had some intense conversations with Alex about her possible military background. All of this had her looking at her tattoos differently. There was one that was barely visible on her arm underneath a black patch of ink. Molly had done a glamour spell that was able to remove the ink cover but it was still faint. It was clear enough so that Jane could research it and she'd learned it belonged to the Navy Seals.

That got her even more motivated as she sat at a table with a scattering of books around her that had military images, a notebook and a mirror. Jane was in the process of trying to look at a smaller tattoo on her back and try to sketch it. Neither was successful and she was getting frustrated. She needed a way to catalog all of her tattoos so that she could start to see if anything related to any of the memories that were emerging.

"True enough." Jane acknowledged, "and it never hurts to have more eyes looking at it. You'll see it from a new perspective that I might not have thought about."

Liz nodded, then her eyes widened a bit. "Oh! I see - there's another one I recognize." Which really surprised her because there were a lot that she didn't know at all. Liz pointed to one she realized that Jane couldn't really see and stopped pointing. "There's, um. One for the CDC? I think, anyways. We had to do projects on diseases for biology once."

It took Jane a minute and then the answer seemed to pop into her head. She had no idea how she knew, but she knew that CDC was Center for Disease Control.

"I have a tattoo for the CDC?" Jane was confused and then she wondered, "do you think why would do this to me? Wipe my memories?"

She paused to think about it. "Maybe you got a rare disease that makes you forget?" No, that probably wasn't it. "Or... I don't know." She frowned, feeling unhelpful. "It must be really frustrating not remembering things like that."

"I was given a drug to make me forget. Someone here looked at my blood for me and found it, but I don't know why. That's what's so frustrating." Jane told her honestly. "So many questions, but at least I'm starting to get answers." She smiled at Liz. "I have two clues now that I didn't have before, CDC and numbers missing from pi. There will be more."

Liz felt bad for Jane. She really wanted her to know more about herself. "Well... I know I said this before, but whatever you need - If I can help, I will."

"I really appreciate that." Jane assured Liz. "You're helping a lot, more than you know. Maybe once I figure out what numbers are missing from Pi and why I have CDC logo on me, you can help me research those."

She smiled wide. "I'd really like that, a lot." If she could help her, that would make Liz very happy.

"Okay, how about we take some more photos?"
