[backdated to March 4] Room with a View (closed to Peter)
Her first experience on the space station was less than stellar, but Liz wasn't the type of person to let one bad experience hinder her from living. That and Peter sounded really excited about this date he had planned and so, she was more than willing to go with him. They probably should talk about what happened. She has sort of been avoided it.
Liz opted today for her black skirt, the same one from Valentine's Day, and a blue top. Since it was supposed to be a date she didn't bring her backpack either.
She stood outside the entrance of the otherworld and waited.

"No.. no, I think I'll just ask you from now on." She laughed softly, then paused. "Does she... Like me?"
She wasn't sure why it mattered to her that a computer program liked her or not, but it did.

And it's true. He ended up having a long talk with a day or two after everything that happened. A really long talk. And a lot of it was about Liz.

"Peter?" Liz paused for a moment as if trying to decide what to say next, then finally, "Can I.. kiss you again?"

"You're a good --" But before Peter can get the words out, he finds his lips connecting with hers again; for a second, he almost forgets what he was trying to say, and when he pulls briefly away, he tries to say it again: "You're a good --"
But is cut off as their lips make contact a third time. It's only during the brief moment when their lips part after that that Peter elects to forgo the preface and just finish the sentence. "Kisser," he manages to push out before their lips touch again.

Peter's half an inch away from exposed skin of the side of her abdomen. Her tanktop having ridden up a little naturally from the position they were in.
She smiled against his lips, kissing him s fourth time as she shifted up a little for a little better leverage but also so her hands didn't become numb from the current position. It inadvertently meant unless Peter was paying a lot of attention to his hand, it probably would slip off her top to the spot just above her hips.

It was hard for Peter to pay attention once she was kissing him, so he's not immediately aware when his hand shifts to the patch of exposed skin right above her abdomen. He shifts his other arm over her, his fingers rolling back and forth over her spine. It gives him something to focus on. Something, he hopes, that will keep him from reacting physically too quickly to the fact that he and his girlfriend are physically very close right now and he really enjoys it.

His hand on her skin felt like electricity and her back arched a little into his touch. Her kissing stopped for just a fraction of a second before she kissed him, this time a little deeper, this time with tongue. She wanted to tell him he was a good kisser too, but she couldn't quite bring herself to stop kissing him right now. All her emotions that led her to this moment were seeping out of her body into the way she kissed him and moved slightly against him. Her free hand found the collar of his shirt and her fingers wrapped around the edge of it, a hint of his warm chest against her fingers.

Peter's confidence in his ability to kiss was limited -- mostly because his experience was limited. But still, he follows her lead, his teeth briefly catching on her lower lip as she feels her hand clutching his collar. He pulls away again, but only for a moment to ask her:
"Do you want me to take it off?"

Liz paused at the question, a nervous sort of half smile as she bit her lip, considering the question for a quick moment. "Do you... Is that... Okay?" Her voice was a little breathless from the lack of breathing they had been doing.

"Yeah," Peter says, his voice as low and breathless as Liz's. "I mean, I wouldn't ask unless I was okay with it."
Peter sits up at an angle -- not quite upright, and tugs off his shirt from the back of the collar. It comes off quickly. Peter has a lot of experience with quickly taking off clothes, mostly because he didn't want to get caught changing out of his clothes and into his Spidey suit in some back alley. The last thing he wanted was to be arrested for public indecency. That would be weird.
But this wasn't weird. This felt right. And even though he was a little anxious (mostly because he was worried about a repeat of the incident earlier), he felt comfortable with Liz. Safe.
He lays back down and lifts his hand back to Liz's face, then smiles awkwardly. A cute, nervous sort of smile that mirrors Liz's, but with its own Peter Parker-esque twist.

Liz held her breath when Peter lifted a little and she wondered if he could tell she was nervous. As his shirt came off, she paused. Even in the dim light of the room, it was hard not to appreciate the way he looked. He looked... Really good.
She reached out tentatively to touch his chest. Her finger tips grazed over his exposed skin as she remained half up. She bit her bottom lip as she felt the heat of his skin transfer into her fingers.
For a second she starts to lower herself back onto him, but then pauses and lifts back up. Looking at Peter with reserved nervousness, she bit her bottom lip, keeping her eye contact with him more because if she looked away somehow she felt like she'd lose her nerve.
She reached down, arms crossed over her body, and pulled the tank top over her head leaving her back in a familiar pink bra he had already seen her in. Once off, she slowly, tentatively lowered back down, her skin touching his in a very distinct mixture of their heat and her breath caught as she settling down against him again.
"...is this..." Still okay, was her unfinished sentence.

Peter is feeling overstimulated right now. It's everything coming together in what feels like an instant. The heat of her body over his, the gentle touch of her fingers over her chest, her shirt coming off, the look in her eyes when she looks down at him. It's becoming harder and harder to keep himself in check, but he just remembers what Liz told him earlier about being flattered, and that makes him feel a little more at ease.
"Yeah," Peter says, letting his hand trail up her side. "It's fine."
And now he's able to take in the sight of her, far longer than he had before. And Peter can't imagine anyone being more perfect than Liz right now.
"Liz?" he says, tentatively. "I know that -- that maybe this is too soon and that -- that it's just gonna make things weird, but--"
Peter inhales deeply, then forces his gaze to meet Liz's.
"I think I might more than like you."

The fact that Peter's hands moved back to touch her - that was more encouraging than anything else. When he does touch her, she seems to breathe easier. It grounded her.
And then he spoke and she froze for a moment, but not because she was upset. She looked at him in silence, eyes intently on him. She knew her answer already. She had basically told him when she admitted she would die for him.
Liz leaned forward and kissed him in one single deep and lingering kiss and pulled back slowly. She spoke practically against his lips. "I've already fallen in love with you, Peter Parker."

In that moment that Liz looks down at him and doesn't say anything, Peter feels his chest constrict with panic. He'd screwed up, Liz was going to leave because there was no way you should be saying this so soon after a relationship started and --
But before Peter can sink deeper into his panicked thoughts, Liz leans forward and kisses him. And when she finally speaks, that constricting feeling he felt in his chest before turns into butterflies, and it's like a million sparks are going off in his head all at once.
And maybe that's why it's easier for him to be direct, and say what he wanted to say to begin with.
"I love you too," he says, his lips brushing against hers.
One of his hands finds it way back to her spine while the other strokes her side. She's so soft. Not like him. And like girl's hair, Peter can understand why people like the feel of a girl's body so much.

There was only one other boy she ever had this feeling for with before and it was a similar intense, all-encompasing feeling. With Peter though, there weren't a lot of unknown questions like "how will this work" and that part was... Really nice.
When he said it more directly, she smiled and then let out the smallest of laughs on an exhale. Hearing him say it gave her butterflies, too. Probably if someone older could see them they would roll their eyes and think them ridiculous, but right now, nothing could be as perfect as this moment for her.
"Thank you, for saving me." She didn't quite mean from the day before, but she didn't extrapolate either and instead caught his mouth again and kissed him.

Peter doesn't respond; he's got plenty to be grateful for himself, but he feels like he's spent a lot of time talking already. For now, all he really wants to do is enjoy this quiet moment with Liz, far away from the Madonna Inn and all the people who apparently have a vested interest in his sex life. He doesn't know when they'll get another opportunity to be alone like this; there's always so many people mulling around the inn that it's hard to do anything without risking someone noticing.
So Peter pulls her closer, so her body is touching hers and his arm can shift in just the right way so that his hand is pressed against the back of his neck against that little place where Liz's hair starts, that place that he really, really likes. And for the time being, Peter realizes as they kiss, he's not really worried about anything. Not about how anyone else feels about him, not about the homework he's supposed to turn into Kitty tomorrow but hasn't even started because he spent so much time goofing off on the station, not about Ms. Rasputin and why she dislikes him so much. Right now, there's only one thing he can focus on, and that's Liz. Liz who loves him, and who he loves, too.

Like him, everything else in her world falls away. There is just him and her in a room filled with stars. It is here where she wants to spend the rest of the day him. The rest of the night. However many moment she has with Peter in this perfect moment - she wants them all.
