"I do," Peter says. "I mean, it feels a little weird celebrating it before the actual day, but -- it's not like I showed up here on my birthday."

Peter's thankful for that. There's a lot that happened after that, at the beginning of the school year.

"Everything looks great," Peter says, now that he's cognizant enough to be able to take everything in. "Did you do this all by yourself?"
