[Backdated April 28th] Frustrations - OTA

Alec found himself walking down the hall tense and unable to really form a coherent thought except a lot of swearing directed toward Peter. He hadn't expected to punch the kid - to really punch the kid. Even when they fought in the parking lot, Alec had held back. That punch - he had meant to hurt Peter. And then after, when he had he was pissed off that Peter hadn't defended himself.

In his walking as he dwelled on the events that just transpired, Alec saw the vending machine. That damn vending machine.

He closed the distance between him and it and then Alec began to punch it. Not the glass - that would be too easy - Alec punched the metal. The metal dented with each hit, his knuckles getting raw and bloody quickly from it.

"That's when you go to a maintenance supply closet and grab one." Dean shrugged. "Then get a bottle of whiskey and let it burn all the way down to your gut."

Or you know that's what you did if you were Dean, Bobby or his dad.

"Ready for part two and the whiskey? Or do you want to grab a crowbar and really hit the shit out of it." He then got serious, "Or is feeling the pain part of it?" Because he knew what it was like to want to feel something... anything to dull the voices and faces in his memories.

Feeling the pain might be part of it, but the damage to the vending machine only happened because it reminded Alec of Peter.

"I call dibs on a bottle for myself." He'd need it if he planned on getting numb at all. Manticore really should have given him an on/off button so he could actually get drunk once and a while.

Alec took a step back from the machine and planned to follow Dean to the bar, if that's where he intended to go.

Dean gave a sharp nod of agreement and turned to head toward the bar. "I'm sure they can spare two bottles." Not that Dean needed a full bottle but he'd never turn one down.

"So, what got your panties in a wad?" He asked as he pushed open the door to the bar and gave Molly a nod in greeting. Dean held up two fingers to indicate his usual, plus one more.

"Teenagers." He glanced at Dean as they entered the bar. "I got switched rooms without my say so and ended up sharing with Peter."

"Wait, this place can do that?" Okay it wouldn't be so bad if he got a better room but his luck he'd end up with a roommate from hell and an even uglier room.

"Apparently. And the guy at the front was no help either." Shocker. "So now I'm stuck with 'let's talk it out' Peter."

Dean made a face and handed Alec one of the bottles and glass when they arrived. He poured his own drink, "what is it with some guys that want to talk shit out?"

By some guys, he meant Sam and Cas.

He shrugged as he poured his own. They probably looked like mirror images at the moment. "You got some in your life too, huh?" He took a sip of the alcohol, letting it warm his throat as it slid down.

"You met Sam, right?" Dean smirked because he knew that he had. "The other one is my friend, Cas." Man, he missed his friend.

"yeah, we met. I don't think he likes me very much." He took a long draw from the alcohol. "I was sleeping with his girlfriend for a while so that might be it."

Dean thought of the two women in Sam's life - that he knew about and snorted. Both would have probably eaten Alec alive. Dean when he was that age, too. Not that he would ever admit to that.

"Yeah? Which one?"

And he was also pretty sure it would have been worth being eaten alive.

"The tall brunette. Bo." They had only stopped because she apparently didn't want to sleep with any more males. Of course, Alec was pretty sure it also had to do with the fact he looked exactly like Dean.

"The hot blonde, though." He shook his head and let out a soft whistle. Alec wouldn't mind showing off his skills with her in bed if he could.

Dean actually liked Molly even though she was a wizard. It made him twitch thinking about it, but if he didn't think too hard, he could get passed it. Sort of. He got passed Benny being a vamp, he could get passed this too.

"Like to see where all her tattoos lead?" He smirked, it was something that he'd thought about with Jane, too.

"Hell yeah." Plus Molly had that something about her that you knew she could handle herself, and not only just in bed - that was hot.

"Thankfully even with your brother monopolizing two women, there are a lot other ones to choose from."

"Amen, brother." Dean raised his glass in salute. "Just be careful." And he meant that sincerely. "We're stuck here which means one night hook ups have a whole other meaning."

In other words, There was no escaping into the night or across country. Or hell even into the next town. There was no escaping, period. Especially if you were looking for a hook up and they were looking for a relationship.

"Yeah." He didn't necessarily follow that rule, having once dated two women at Jam Pony at the same time. The fall out from that had been harsh, but mostly because the girls fighting over him got fired and they had to do over time.

"The kid is pretty adamant I find someone to go 'steady' with." He rolled his eyes and downed more alcohol, over a quarter of the hard liquor under his belt now.

“Why does he care about your sex life?” Dean asked confused. He got why he kept prodding Sam to get laid on the road, though he had to admit he didn’t need to as much as when they were first traveling.

“He think everyone wants a relationship? He’s young, he’ll figure that out.” Though when Dean was Peter’s age, he hadn’t wanted a relationship either. Even if they hadn’t been hunters. That was Sam's thing.

Alec did a palms-up. "Who knows?" Alec was pretty sure Peter thought Alec needed someone to 'make him happy', but Alec was pretty sure he'd just be inviting someone to be miserable.

"Your brother ever complain about that stuff? All my brothers and sisters aren't close." Except maybe he and Max.

"Sam's used to me not having relationships so he doesn't." Sam was the more relationship person. "It also helps that we travel all the time and he knows our lives doesn't make good relationship material."

At the Inn, Sam knew that Dean would hear the Peanuts adult sound of wha, wha, wha, wha if he tried to talk to him about getting a relationship going in the Inn.

"Travel, huh?" This was an easier subject to focus on. "You been to any cool places?" He paused. "Which place has the hottest girls?"

He was not a Beach Boys fan - at all. But he couldn't resist. "Well east coast girls are hip, I really dig the styles they wear. And the Northern girls with the way they kiss..." Dean chuckled. "Sorry I couldn't resist. It's from an old song. The best time I had was in Florida with a yoga instructor." He waggled his eyebrows, "bendy."

It had been a few years but he still missed Lisa, but it was for the best.

The reference... went right over Alec's head. Somehow, annoyingly, he figured Logan would know it. But the bendy part he could appreciate and it drew a smile to his lips.

"Nice." He could definitely get behind that.

Somehow he had finished half the bottle. He only felt an inkling of alcohol. Damn his metabolism.

"I made the mistake of sleeping with two girls from my work at the same time. They found out and full on fought each other." It had been kind of fun to watch, though.

"You didn't ask them to make it a threesome instead of doing it behind their backs?" Dean smirked and poured himself another drink. "Did word spread and you were screwed, no pun intended, or did you date another co-worker?"

"I mean... I'm pretty irresistible, so" He playfully winked. "But I stopped after a while because my friend Max threatened to kick my ass and while she's hot so it wouldn't be too bad, I like to keep my junk between my legs."

"Good incentive for lesson learned." Dean admitted. "So Max huh? You and she ever..." He waggled his eyebrows at him.
