Dean makes good on a bet - Lip Sync Hell

With the help of River and copious amounts of alcohol, Dean had finally finished learning the stupid song and moves. It was put off as long as he could, but Dean would never go back on a bet. Especially one won doing beer pong. It didn't mean he wouldn't get his revenge. He would, but for now, Dean was a single lady and you better put a ring on it.

The most traveled place was the spot by the cafe in the lobby. Most people would see you there either coming and going from the inn or to the bar or pool. Of course Clarice picked that spot.

He set up the music and hoped that for once, everyone was outside enjoying the day. Dean was dressed in the 'gift' from Clarice but he was not wearing the pumps, he didn't care and he had borrowed a wig. If he was going to do it, he would do it right.

The beginning of the song began to play and Dean got to the empty area 'stage'.

“Not everything.” Dean admitted. “She knows about hunting and our family, but not everything about us. She doesn’t know about Crowley and Lucifer. I’m kind of easing her into it. She can take it, but it’s a lot to take in, your lover has been to Hell and Purgatory.”


He thought about it and then said, “I got Chuck’s books in my egg. It’s all the volumes. I’ve thought about letting her read them, but then she’d probably say something to mom and I’m good with her never seeing that.” Yeah, he’d tried to burn the damn things but they kept coming back, like the rooms.

"Yeah." It had been pretty easy with Molls and Bo, but they weren't exactly 'normal' themselves. There was still a lot he didn't know himself, so he could imagine.

"Actually, can I borrow those? I know it's crap and all that, but it's easier to read than to interrogate you."

"Sure. There are a lot more books than you think." Dean nodded. Hell it had everything up to and including his time in Purgatory. "Apparently there were some 'unpublished' books that made it onto the Internet. Those were included in the egg, too."

"Please say you're not talking about fanfic." Because, no. He didn't even want to...too late. There wasn't brain bleach strong enough for what ten seconds of hunter fanfic conjured.

"Nope, it actually is unpublished works of Chuck. It's what happened to us after the ones that were published. It doesn't include the Leviathans."

Dean understood exactly where Sam was coming from with the fanfiction. Luckily the inn hadn't been that cruel.

"From what you've said about Chuck, I'm not sure that's better." Okay, he was mostly joking, but it got them away from the ugly unbleachable subject.

He cracked open another beer and handed it to Dean. "Here's to fiction being weirder than fact."
