Dean makes good on a bet - Lip Sync Hell

With the help of River and copious amounts of alcohol, Dean had finally finished learning the stupid song and moves. It was put off as long as he could, but Dean would never go back on a bet. Especially one won doing beer pong. It didn't mean he wouldn't get his revenge. He would, but for now, Dean was a single lady and you better put a ring on it.

The most traveled place was the spot by the cafe in the lobby. Most people would see you there either coming and going from the inn or to the bar or pool. Of course Clarice picked that spot.

He set up the music and hoped that for once, everyone was outside enjoying the day. Dean was dressed in the 'gift' from Clarice but he was not wearing the pumps, he didn't care and he had borrowed a wig. If he was going to do it, he would do it right.

The beginning of the song began to play and Dean got to the empty area 'stage'.

She stood in the back watching him and even whistled from time to time to give him encouragement. Or you know, be more of a pain in the ass - either worked.

When he finished she clapped and walked over to him with a nice fluffy white bathrobe from the sauna. "Here. I've gotta say I'm impressed. I didn't think you'd pull it off. Really nice dance moves by the way."

Dean glared but took the offered white robe and cussed to himself for not thinking about bringing a change of clothes. He glanced down and was relieved to see that it actually did cover him.

"I'm burning this as soon as I get back to my room." He meant the outfit that she'd given him to wear."

"I'll teleport it to a place I've never seen and let it get destroyed if you want." Clarice offered, "or I'll give you the match to light it." She paused, "and you really were a good sport about this."

"How about both?" Dean said on a big, dramatic sigh. "And I'd rather have a blowtorch."

"I think we can get you one. There's probably one in the maintenance shed here." Clarice said helpfully. "We can even give it a viking funeral. I happen to know a real viking."

Jane and Dean

Curiosity brought her out after seeing Clarice's text to everyone and then amusement made her stay. So that was why he wanted to borrow things.

When Dean finished she watched him for a few minutes and then went over to him to offer her own congratulations. "I'm not sure if I should be impressed or terrified that you did that well."

"Terrified." Dean said, "I know I am. I wish I could get that shit out of my head now." He tightened the robe belt just to make double sure that it wouldn't pop open to reveal the damn one piece.

"I'm gonna drink myself into a coma, feel like joining me?"

"I will even hold your hair when you vomit." Jane teased and then held up her hands, "I'm sorry. I couldn't resist that. You might want to get rid of the wig though."

"Smart ass." Dean said without much bite to his words as he reached up to pull off the offending mass of hair. "And I'm going to never wear a wig again."

Unless he needed to for another Braveheart speech.

"I've heard they're itchy and hot." Jane said on a laugh. "Never thought a lover would wear a wig before I did." She teased him.

Molly and Dean

Molly held her phone up and recorded the show. This was something that should be played over and over and over again. She knew it was shortlived in her world, with her magic killing technical things, but it would be worth the short circuit.

She gave a wolf whistle of appreciation to the moves and the look. Dean had nice legs if a little bowlegged. When the show was over, Molly slipped into the pool bar and picked up a bottle of whiskey.

"This should take the sting out of it."

He scowled when he saw the few phones going up to record it. The most he could hope for was a freak electrical pulse thing that would wipe them all out. Or the Inn make the phones disappear as easily as they appeared.

"It's a start." Dean took the bottle and twisted off the cap, he didn't even wait to get a glass. After taking a long, deep drink he looked over at Molly. "Hope you weren't expecting me to share this."

"Nope, I am going to get one of my own." Not whiskey, she preferred beer. "I know you don't want to hear this but you are a pretty good dancer, nice moves."

Dean took another healthy drink from his bottle. "I might never dance again." A beat, "unless it will get me laid." That was always the caveat with Dean.

Molly snickered and popped open her beer. "Glad to see you have your priorities straight. Though to be fair, most guys learn to dance so they can get laid."

Dean & Sunny

Sunny had laughed herself sick from start to finish during that dance, feeling something in her come alive like she hadn't in weeks. Which meant that after thoroughly enjoying Dean's humiliation, she had to talk to him afterward. "I wish I'd known you were doing that. I'd've danced with you in a heartbeat."

"I wish I had known you would have." Dean made a face and drank from yet another beer bottle. "I would have got you to be one of the other people in that stupid song." If you were going to be humiliated, it was always good to have company to share the pain with.

Sunny grinned, perhaps with more teeth than necessary, and invited herself to sit down. "Beyoncé's majesty is unassailable, and 'Single Ladies' is art. I will always dance to it, but I didn't want to steal your show."

"Yeah, thanks for that." Dean said dryly. "I appreciate that." Not really, but his tone was amused - mostly at himself. "At least I provided entertainment if not talent."

Sunny didn't say anything for a moment, until finally she shrugged mostly to herself. "Would it help if I told you that I think I needed that? Because I really did need that."

Sam and Dean

Sam just happened to be passing through the lobby when Dean was due to perform. Yeah, just happened to be, if by just happened you meant had seen Clarice's message and wouldn't have missed it for the world.

About twenty seconds into it, he was experiencing the worst secondhand embarrassment that he could ever remember, and immediately went to grab a few beers. Dean was going to need them whenever people got done putting a ring on it. Ew. On his finger, putting a ring on his finger. Anything else they were putting a ring on, Sam didn't want to know.

The embarrassment finally ended and Sam held out a beer. "Jesus, Dean. Who did you lose a bet with?"

Dean reached for the alcohol almost the instant Sam got it close enough to grab. "Clarice. She's a sadistic bitch." But it was said with actual affection because he would have done - and will do the same when she loses to him.

"Must've been some bet," Sam muttered into his beer. At least he wasn't blushing but seriously. "Especially if you actually had to learn all the dance steps. What was she going to do if you won?"

"Oh I have the next one already planned." Dean smirked, "and she is going down. She has to wear that 60s big, tall hair and the skirts that poofed out while lip syncing to Be My Baby." Yeah, he was looking forward to seeing her do that one.

Sam winced at the image, but somehow that didn't seem as bad. "What's the bet that she doesn't know she's going to lose?" And why wasn't Dean sleeping with her? This was more energy than he'd ever seen him put into a relationship with a woman.
