[ Log ] Not a Vampire: Molly x Sam

Sam and Molly talk about Bo's powers. Following this.
When: way back in February/March
Warning: vaguely NSFW at the end

After he'd seen Bo safely back to the Inn, Sam took a long shower and a longer nap. He needed to clear his head and get some rest before he talked to Molls. He'd gotten Bo's permission and she deserved an explanation, given the relationship they were in and her history with vampires. It was mid-aftermoon by the time he woke, grabbed a salad, then showered again and brushed his teeth.

Energy restored, mind clear, and heart yearning for the girl who'd been his best friend before he'd known her two hours, Sam followed his clairsentience to find her in her room. He knocked, even though she'd know he was there.

There were only a few people in the Inn that Molly had charmed her wards in her room to recognize. On top of that, she recognized Sam's essence through them. It was a connection that she'd always felt as an empath, familiarity in the many emotions of those around her. There was an added bonus of their Soulgaze connection, so she knew who was on the other side of the knock. She'd spent time running in the desert landscape to settle her thoughts and emotions from everything that had happened at the space station. It was her version of detox from emotions. It was either that or become an alcoholic and while that wasn't off the table, she preferred this for now.

Molly opened the door, wearing a smile and comfortable sweats and a t-shirt. "Hey, come on in."

Sam's energy might have been restored and his body rested, but no amount of rest could do for him what Molly's smile did. Immediately, the tension in his stomach and his jaw relaxed and his eyes cleared. It might not be easy, this conversation, but it would be okay.

"Hey," he said quietly and stepped inside, shutting the door behind him. "Any chance I can get a hug before we have this talk?"

"Of course." She said automatically and pulled him into her embrace. The conversation would go much differently because Molly had felt what Sam had felt at the time. That had put a lot of her concerns to the back burner, with a few to rest. There was still a lot to talk about, and Molly would likely always have a voice in the back of her head watching, but luckily she had a good relationship with Thomas and Justine, that would help this along immensely.

"Take all the hugs you need."

Normally, Sam would probably have asked how she looked so damned sexy in sweats and a t-shirt, but today, he just put his arms around her and sank his face into her hair. It had only ever been this kind of easy with Jess, and right then, he realized how much he'd missed it.

For a long few minutes, he just held her and let her hold him, his hand stroking her through her hair like straightening a few tangles could set right the world. Then he lifted his head, kissed her gently, and said, "Thanks, Molls," in a tone that meant I love you for everything always..

Molly reached up to cup his jaw, her thumb absently rubbed against it. "Anytime, Sam," in an answering tone. "Come on, I happen to know someone that can get free alcohol. Oh wait that's everyone." She grinned and gave him a quick kiss. "I have cold beer or chilled wine if you want some."

"Beer's good." He smiled a bit as he watched her moving around her space and went to sit where she would come to join him. "C'mere and sit with me, yeah? I don't feel like talking about Bo from opposite sides of the room. Besides, you're gonna feel better if you can touch me and feel my energy for yourself."

She didn't bother reminding him that she could feel his emotions from anywhere in her room. He was right, they both would feel better having this conversation close enough to touch. Molly picked up a six pack carton and brought it back. The implications of they might need more than one and she didn't want to get back up was clear. It could also be used for celebration later. Both worked.

There was a soft clank as the bottles settled on the little table in front of the sofa before Molly curled up on the cushion next to Sam. She handed him one and twisted off her own cap. "If it helps start the conversation, I felt what she felt and later what you felt." Molly hadn't told him much about the White Court vampires in her world, but enough about the various types of vampires that he probably knew where her mind associated those feelings.

Sam popped off the cap on his beer and took a long slug before he answered her, "I don't know if it helps me or not, but at least you know it was consensual." He reached over and tangled his free fingers into her hair, then spent a few quiet moments straightening one of the curls.

"Bo's not a vampire. She's Fae. A succubus," he finally said, knowing her being Fae might actually be worse. "She only found out what she was a few years ago when she made a mistake with a boyfriend. Then the Fae found her and tried to force her to choose Light or Dark and she chose humans." Sam trusted he didn't need to make the connection between Molly's mind magic mistake and Bo's feeding, or his own demon blood errors. "She needs to feed off chi, life energy, or sexual energy, especially when she's injured, and I've been feeding her since she arrived." Like he had with Bex and Caroline, but that was a different story. "It doesn't hurt me and I'm not in thrall."

Molly could definitely relate to not knowing what the hell and scared as shit that you've screwed someone's life. She was silent processing everything that Sam said. She knew from experience that your soul would grow back, she assumed life energy was the same. The fact was that she didn't know that, but if Sam had been feeding her since she arrived, and there wasn't a hint of white or grey in his hair, that meant it likely did grow back.

"Okay, but you wouldn't know that you were in a thrall if you were." She held up a hand before Sam could respond and caressed his arm. "You're not. That I would be able to feel even if you couldn't. It's too familiar to me being around White Courts and their... people." Molly didn't want to call them victims because while some were there were others that weren't. "However, I reserve the right to bring up the topic of it hurting or not, if your hair starts turning white." She sighed softly, and debated about adding what else she was thinking but they were always honest, and Molly wasn't going to screw that up with words not spoken.

"I trust your judgment with her and strangely I trust her judgment with you. I felt what she felt for you and it was genuine, not just feeding needs. But... you knew there was going to be a but, what happens if she's really injured and she can't stop herself from taking too much from you? Is there a back up-plan?" She knew that Sam was warm-hearted and generous and wouldn't give a shit if it meant healing a very sick Bo. However, Molly would give a shit which is why there needed to be a back-up plan. Even if that back up plan was her. A wizard lived to be well into their hundreds, she had a lot of life energy. The Merlin had been alive long over two centuries and there was probably a couple more left in him, which sucked for her.

Sam wanted to protest that he'd know if he were in thrall, but the truth was, he probably wouldn't. Although Bo's pheromones didn't really work like that. But it didn't matter. The point was that he wasn't and Molly had seen that for herself, and she wasn't freaking out over Bo, either. So he didn't argue with her about the details. Instead, he just told her, "We should talk about how Bo's powers work. Later."

Right now, he wanted to answer the question she'd asked, because she was worried about it. He didn't need to be an empath to feel that. "Dyson is the back-up plan. They were together in their world and he can heal her from near-death without risking himself." It wasn't anything they'd ever discussed, him and Dyson, but Sam knew Dyson would help Bo if she needed it. "Pretty sure Regina knows and would help, too."

He took her hand from his arm and lifted it to his mouth to kiss her knuckles. "I know it scares you, me getting hurt, and what you'd do if it happened, but it's okay, Molls. We've got this." And if the three of them ended up together, that would include her too. "If it helps, I'll promise to let you know any time Bo gets badly hurt, if there's time to do it without risking her life."

"Deal." She was mostly concerned that Bo and Sam would be cognizant enough to ask for Dyson but it would have to be on faith. "I'm not just concerned for you, but that is my priority." Molly said honestly. "I'm also concerned for Bo. Can she be healed other ways? I don't mean normal medicine like Butters, but what about Kash? Obviously not through sex, but magical heeling instead of feeding." Molly was concerned that Bo might be in a situation that she wouldn't be able to feed, like knocked unconscious.

Abruptly, Sam smiled, a pure, true, sweet smile. He caught the back of Molly's neck and hauled her in for a deep, long kiss. "You're amazing." He kissed her again until he ran out of breath. "I hadn't thought of that. Magical healing reverses the injury and restores the person to full health, which means that it should be able to heal Bo without her feeding, but even if it can only heal her injuries and not restore her chi, if she's not dying from her wounds, she can recover a little more slowly without endangering herself or anyone else. In theory."

"Brains, beauty and boobs. That's me." Molly teased. "But seriously, I hope it will work I just don't want something to happen to her." Then she realized that she only knew of one magical healer. "Kash is the only one I know." It wasn't like she paid attention because her go to was Butters. He was who she was used to and he knew her and her magic better than anyone. "Are there more so she doesn't have to depend on just one?" She shot him a grin, "in other words, do you know if Kash has a backup?" He might be a bit more preoccupied the closer to fatherhood he gets.

"Pike. And she and Bo are close, so she'd probably be the go-to, since she already knows what Bo is." On the other hand, if anything happened to Molly, even though he respected Butters and Jackson, Kash would be his go-to for her. Because he knew her, and he cared about her, and he'd have his own reasons for needing to make her whole. "So what else do you need to know about Bo?"

That helped reassure Molly a lot and she caressed his jaw with her thumb as she thought about what else she'd like to know. "I do have questions about how her chi works, restoring it, that kind of thing but is that something I should ask her?" In her mind she was comparing her to a White Court, which Molly knew that she wasn't, she just wasn't sure how it worked physically.

"Since you both have Fae stuff going on, you're going to want to," Sam said, while tangling his fingers in her hair. "But I can give you the basics. Like, at least some of her nutrients come from regular food, but she does have to feed on sexual energy or life energy too. I'm not sure she or Dyson knows how the balance works, but she ate human food until a few years ago, so there's probably some kind of hormonal trigger. Usually, having a partner is enough to keep her steady, but if she gets injured too badly, her powers will trigger automatically. Which means that she can feed while she's unconscious, and--" He quirked a small, not quite embarrassed but definitely mildly awkward, grin. "--it doesn't have to be penetrative sex."

"In my world, the soul grows back, so I can give a bit of my soul to someone or it gets taken and it grows back." Which is what she'd done with Stephen at Bonesville. A little bit of her soul was still left in his mind, it had grown back long ago. "But I guess her life energy doesn't grow back so she has to feed." Molly understood how that could work and be a pain in the ass at the same time.

Her eyebrows waggled in response to Sam's mildly awkward smile. "So what you're saying about no penetration, is that she could be a voyeur and still get fed." Molly thought about it for a minute and then her small smile grew like a Cheshire cat's. "Man, she could make a killing as a Madame and I could see her being really protective of her girls and guys."

"Actually...she probably would be really good at that, but I think she does have to participate," Sam said, although he wasn't sure what would count as participation. He shifted on the couch as he took another swig of his beer. Now that they were past the bad part, being close to Molls was more important than not being awkward. "I just meant oral and fingers worked too. It would suck if it had to be a guy, since she likes women too." Which Molls knew from the other night, but it didn't hurt to repeat that.

"I actually wasn't sure if that was what you meant. I mean I know Bo likes men and women, she's equal opportunity that way. I just wasn't sure if that was what Succubus were like in her world or just individual to the person."

Molly slid her hand along Sam's thigh in a soft caress. "The results of too much feeding off of sexual energy is intense. I guess I should say it was for me. The very first time, I was asked to feel someone's last moments before their death, to find out how they died because there wasn't any evidence of it, it was literally death by orgasm. It was unexpected, and just as intense as the very first orgasm I ever had." Her smile appeared, "embarrassed the hell out of Butters and Harry."

Molly had truly experienced it, so as she'd sat on a chair in the morgue looking into the eyes of the recently deceased, she'd gone into full orgasm. It had actually been the first time that she'd met Butters. She'd left an impression. "I just wanted to make a point that my empathy could turn any sexual encounter into a perfect storm of sex and orgy." Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

"Your empathy, her pheromones-- On a lesser scale, my clairsentience." His demon-blood powers were strange and unpredictable, but the ones that had to do with his mind were much stronger around people he had emotional bonds with. And an emotional bond plus a sexual one meant that him being in bed with the two women he loved while their powers were doing what they did... "It could be fun, but it could also be a disaster."

He tugged Molly toward him to where he could put at least one arm around her. "I don't want you to think I'm asking you to do that. If you have feelings for Bo or an interest in her and you want to, that's one thing. But you don't ever have to. I love you, and I don't need for all of us together as long as being with her doesn't mean I can't be with you."

And because he wasn't a total idiot, he went back to what she'd been saying about her first experience with this. When your girlfriend told you something intimate, no matter how fast she zoomed past it, you didn't get to. "What happened with you and the dead guy...and Harry and Butters...that sounds pretty awkward. Did it freak you out?"

Molly smiled softly at Sam, it was so much like him to make sure that she was okay with everything. "I like Bo, I did the first time I met her by the pool, was even a little attracted and now I know why I felt as strongly as I did that time. I'm not saying I wasn't naturally attracted to her then, I was, it was just more intense that I thought I was feeding off of someone else that was looking at her." Her smile went from soft to amused, "now I know I was feeding off her."

Her whole body relaxed as she thought of that first time in the morgue. "I was a little freaked." She admitted, "I wasn't sure what I would experience. It wasn't looking into the dead person's eyes, that didn't bother me at all." Molly crinkled her nose, "maybe it should have but I've never had a problem being around death. Poor Butters, it was the first time I ever met him, I don't think he could look me in the eyes for a long time after that. Lucky for me, I'm not shy about sex."

He wasn't going to turn down Bo and Molly and him together, but he didn't need it, and talking about it anymore was just going to make it seem like he did. So he smiled and stroked her jaw with his fingertips, but didn't say anything about Bo after that. Instead, he let the subject change to her experiences. "Yeah, he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who could just blow off a beautiful woman having an orgasm in his morgue. How did Harry react?" Because Sam's pretty sure he would've just picked her up and found a closet or something to fuck in.

Molly laughed, "to be fair I was only seventeen, so I was still technically jail bait but out of high school. "Harry was actually more focused on the case, he kept asking me questions." Her eyes sparkled at the memory, "but we when left the morgue and it was just us, he talked, and talked and talked, like he was trying to keep his mind focused. I think he forgot or didn't want to remember that I could feel what he was feeling. Arousal with guilt." If had also only been a year from when she'd thrown herself at him naked.

"I keep forgetting how much more walk on the sexual wild side I was from him even though he was the adult. I told him I felt that prickly sensation with the medical pinwheel things. Well I didn't, but the victim had during her orgasm and Harry didn't get the connection." Molly smirked at Sam, "Butters did though. I think there's more to Butters than people think."

"Pretty sure there has to be more to a guy who unironically loves polka, D&D, and prefers dead people to living ones, at least when it comes to medicine." Sam grinned at her, not at all embarrassed or awkward about other peoples' kinks in the abstract. If Molly wanted to start using pinwheels in their sexplay, he might blush a little, but he'd get there.

He leaned in and nipped at her ear, then said, "I'm kinda glad neither of them knew what to do with you. It means less competition for me."

"Definitely less competition for you." Molly agreed. Though Butters wasn't her type physically, he was very much her type in personality with his kind and brave heart. She leaned in to nip at his bottom lip, "I think you would have known what to do with me back then, just like you do now."

"I know what I'd like to do with you now," he murmured and turned her nip into a full-fledged kiss. It didn't matter that he'd been nearly exhausted, and more sexually sated than he remembered being not eight hours ago. This was Molly, and she didn't need Bo's pheromones to press his buttons. "I think I need a nap. Afterwards."

"Funny, I was just thinking the same thing. Okay not exactly the same thing, but close." Molly said against Sam's lips. "I sorta reversed the order in my head with naptime first so you can rest before I have my wicked way with you." Her teeth gently scraped against his jaw. "But if you're good with your energy level." She winked.

"Oh, I'm good." Her teeth against his neck were already provoking a response. "Be as wicked as you want. I can take it."
