I'm in dire need of a cape. I've been without one for months now and I miss the weight of it.

What kind of magic?

I know how to summon light and fire. I know how to construct wards and veils. Cleanse spaces. Sew magic into fabric. I know some about illusions and dreams. I know how to lay ghosts, I know about spirits and sacrifices. And I know how to build engines.

What do you know about dreams, exactly?

That's a little hard to put into words. I can ward other people's dreams to keep nightmares at bay. Only lasts for a day or two. A little about dreamwalking, though Felix always told me not to. How to protect my own mind, I guess.

That's definitely hard.

It's kinda like there's a world that's just made out of people's dreams, and you can go wandering around in it. It's real easy to get lost and end up somewhere you don't want to be.

And the wards -- are they a thing you cast on somebody, or do you imbue an object with power?
