Peter Parker Party(Closed to Piotr, Kitty, Sora, Alec, and obvs Peter)

Liz had been organizing the small party for Peter for two weeks and it had been hard not to excitedly tell Peter everything. She knew he considered today his birthday. His sixteenth birthday and she wanted him to feel special today.

Once Peter was out of the room, she went in a decorated. Everything was simple, but made from the heart. She had, with Pike's instructions, made a chocolate cake with vanilla icing and piped a web in black on it with candles that said '16'. There were some finger-foods like pigs in a blanket anc chips, but the 'main course' was thai food. Or, something that maybe resembled it. Liz had worked with Emma to try and make some. There was Thai curry and Pad Thai and there was even an attempt at Larb based off of Peter's recount to Liz and then Liz's recount to Emma. There were red and blue streamers carefully places around the room.

Liz was dressed in a simple black tank top and jeans, but her hair was pulled back and clipped together by a Homemade bow.

There was music playing in the back ground of the borrowed boom box. She turned around in place looking at everything and wondered if Peter would have wanted more?

Once everyone else had arrived, it was just Peter they were waiting on. When he did, everyone but Alec shouted, to varying degrees of enthusiasm, 'Surprise'.

Peter frowns at that.

"I think I can work with that." Peter was hoping for something a little more family-friendly, but he probably couldn't expect that from Alec. "It's your birthday, so it's pretty much required that you get anything you want."

Well, maybe required was an exaggeration. But people tended to be a lot nicer to him and a lot more generous on his birthday than they were any other time of the year. Except Flash, but that, like Alec not wanting a family-friendly theme for his birthday party, wasn't exactly a surprise.

"What about cake?"

He hadn't really been serious, but if the kid was going to figure out how to include great looking women then, sure.

"Uh, yeah. I like cake." He had just stuffed his face full so he had thought that was obvious.

The cake thing was pretty obvious, which was what made knowing Alec's desired flavor and icing incredibly vital to party planning.

"No, I mean the flavor! You didn't tell me earlier."

"Oh, uh. I don't know." He stood there and thought for a moment. Did he care? Cake was cake. "Vanilla. No, wait. Chocolate." And thus ended the flavours Alec was familiar with. "Yeah, chocolate." They didn't have a lot of that back home, so might as well indulge here, right?"

"We could do chocolate with vanilla frosting," Peter says. "That was Dad's favorite. Mom liked cookie cake."

Peter got the feeling there wasn't a lot of cookie cake where Alec came from.

"I think I'm gonna try and take a picture of everyone," he says, taking the picture frame back into his hands. "It's not like I don't want a picture of just me and Liz. I just want to have a picture of everyone tonight."

That surprised him a little, then kind of impressed him, and then, more secretly, made him kind of pleased cause that meant him, too, right? He also made note about Peter's parents. He knew he wasn't living with them - he had talked about his aunt May enough - but this was his birthday so any touchy subject was off limits. See, even Alec had scruples.

"Make sure you get my good side." He turned to one side, then the other, then made a vague gesture waving off the notice with a smile. "Who am I kidding, all sides are good."

"What?" Peter asks, wide-eyed and hurt. "I'm not already on your good side?"

Alec, this time, physically facepalmed. "I meant in the picture, kid. As in, make sure I look good." Wow. "You sure you haven't been drinking?"

"Kitty name a drink after me," Peter says, defensively. "So I couldn't not drink it."

"Alright, that's fair." Plus, the kid could use some alcohol to loosen him up, just not black out drunk. There was a fine line.

"Okay, so just tell me when and I'll take that photo, I guess. Because it's your birthday."

"I will," Peter says. "I'm going to go grab some cake, though." He gestures towards the table fool of food.

Peter starts to head over there, and then suddenly stops with an "Oh" of realization.

"And I haven't forgotten about --" Peter taps the back of his own neck. "I just need a little more time to figure the rest of it out."

And with that, Peter heads to his destination.
