Bakery Decisions (OTA)
It had been a few days stuck in an Inn that Quill thought was pretty fantastic except for the fact he was stuck there. It was a place he would bring Gamora, but first he needed to find Gamora. In order to find Gamora, he needed to be back him. This was the main problem.
He was thankful that he could get his nose healed. It looked good-as-new and still one of his best features.
Currently he was looking over the bakery goods. Brownies are classic, but the cupcakes look equally as good

"Do you live on a space station? I visited one before." It was into the other world, but he assumed they were mostly alike.

Quill was learning that a lot of people understood space from some sort of otherworld space station visit.
"I live on a space ship." He answered. "Sort of the same except the ship is mine and I only share it with people on my crew. My friends. Stations usually have way too many douche-canoes to deal with."

"Does your space ship appear as a ship?" The only reference he had of ships was a carrack ship.

"Uh," Quill started, unsure how to answer that. "Yes? I mean, I guess? It looks like a space ship."
He frowned a bit and looked confused.
"Have you never seen like, a sci-fi movie, dude?" He asked.

"It was the fourteen seventies when I arrived. I had not seen electricity or water that did not have to be brought from the well before here. I have only recently watched movies from the library."
He wasn't really a fan of the moving pictures. He preferred the traveling troupes of his time.

Quill's mind was blown.
He looked at Adrian with wide-eyes and fascination.
"1470s? No way." He said, enthralled. "That's crazy. I can't even begin to think about what it would be like to live without showers and toilets and, most importantly, video games."

"Really? Like a Barbecue?" Quill asked with interest. "I mean, I don't blame you. Nothing says delicious burger than one grilled in the backyard, am I right?"
Do they hang out in backyards in the 1470s?
"Dude, if I had my spaceship here, I'd totally take you up in it." He said. "You'd get a kick out of it."

She had been burned at the stake for her scientific beliefs. Unlike his father, Dracula, Adrian blamed the church rather than all humans.

"She was, huh?" He said with a smile. "That's cool. My mom spent a lot of time in the hospital, so I respect nurses a lot."
Subject change. Talking about mothers was too hard for Quill.
"So what's your deal?" He said. "You're fro the 1400s, but what do you do? Are you like a prince or something?"

He learned magic along with his natural powers.
"And you? Is being a Star-Lord, captain of a space ship, what you do?"
no subject
"It's part of what I do, yeah." He said with a nod. "And we go around helping people and stopping bad guys. My team and I are called the Guardians of the Galaxy. We're kind of a big deal in space."

"We travel wherever people need us." He answered. "We've been to a lot of different planets and galaxies. People are usually surprised to find out there is way more out there than they originally thought."
A beat.
"Though, I guess for you, people still thought space was heaven, right?" he said, trying to remember history class.

"Good for her. Mom's are usually way smarter than most people," Quill said with a grin.
He was a big fan of moms and was biased.

"Brownie." He said as she picked it up. "A classic."
Quill stopped, then also picked up a peanut butter cookie.
"And a cookie for dessert," he added with a grin.

Chocolate was still a delicacy for him.
