Bakery Decisions (OTA)
It had been a few days stuck in an Inn that Quill thought was pretty fantastic except for the fact he was stuck there. It was a place he would bring Gamora, but first he needed to find Gamora. In order to find Gamora, he needed to be back him. This was the main problem.
He was thankful that he could get his nose healed. It looked good-as-new and still one of his best features.
Currently he was looking over the bakery goods. Brownies are classic, but the cupcakes look equally as good

It was something that he'd only had at the Inn. They didn't have lemons in Transylvania, but he liked the sour taste.

Quill looked toward the man talking.
"Dude... you are super pale." He said without thinking. "Sorry. But, I mean, it's kind of true. Do you need some, like vitamins or something?"
Maybe less cupcakes and more salads or beets

He was curious though and asked, "English is not my first language and I find some words confusing." Not to mention he was from the time of Leonardo DaVinci. "You called me super pale and I can assume it means very pale but I have also heard the term superhero is that where it comes from? Someone that is a hero but more so than a normal hero?"

He grinned with his chin held up high. And wait for the gushing response...

"There are?" He asked, thinking. "I met Spider-Man and there's my friend Rocket. Who else?"
Quill wanted to think the rest of his team would be here, but he knew that wasn't the case.

"There is my friend Zahra, she and her friends battled others in their world. Molly is a wizard that protects a place called Chicago. I know of those that would hunt supernatural forces and there are those that are called mutants that have powers that save their world." He smiled slightly, "I do not know of a man that is a spider or your friend Rocket, but I think there are more superheroes at the Inn than not."

Buffy & Peter
Maybe she could help him along, she'd pretty much tried everything there. Did she mention that Slayer metabolism was great?
"Whatcha in the mood for?"
Re: Buffy & Peter
Quill's eyes fell on a very pretty woman. He smiled charmingly to her.
"That's a tough question to answer," He said. "I mean, food wise? Something delicious. But then there are all these other moods I can be in for. Like a good conversation or in the mood to listen to some really good music."

Quill regarded her.
"I think you could." He said honest. Someone as hot as you could definitely stop a bad guy in their track "Maybe you just haven't found your muse yet."

Miguel & Peter
So his concentration was on the churros but that wasn't what the bakery lady called them. Unfortunately, his attention kept going back to the chocolate cupcakes, but Miguel felt guilty. Maybe he could eat that one here and then take something back to Dante in their room.
Re: Miguel & Peter
"Looks like you're solving a Rubik's cube," He said as he stepped beside Miguel. "I'd go with... One of each."
He winked.

Re: Miguel & Peter
"Dante is a super cool name for a dog best friend," Quill said with enthusiasm. "Did you name him? I always wanted a dog, but I got a raccoon and a tree instead."
Quill looked around briefly to see if Rocket was around. He didn't want to suddenly get shot at. Rocket would know I'm making fun.... probably.
Re: Miguel & Peter
Miguel became a little confused, "how do you have a tree as a friend?" He supposed if you talked to plants, they could become your friend like Mama Coco that you just told things to. Maybe.
Re: Miguel & Peter
Quill did not know what an abeulita was, but he was sure it was someone important to the child.
"He's actually a space tree," Quill said with a bit of mysterious tone to his voice. "His name is Groot. He's kind of going through a phase right now. It's a little annoying, but soon he'll start to listen again. Probably."

Regina & Quill
But when she saw the rugged-looking ginger at the bakery window, it occurred to her that it might actually be Atticus and Apple she'd been thinking of. Time for some druidry and elemental chatting maybe. That always felt solidly good and non-murderous.
Anyhow, in the moment, because he was looking and she'd been baking (without the 'precious' smudges of flour a woman without access to good glamour spells couldn't avoid), she offered her most alluring smile. "I just took the turnovers out of the oven."
Re: Regina & Quill
"Oo. Apple. Classic." Quill said to the beautiful woman in front of him. "Did you make them yourself?"
Quill's smile was charming. It was the same sort of smile he offered most women when he was flirting.
Re: Regina & Quill
There might have been a hint of that sharpness today, but it was only in service of her own sense of humor (and possibly a memory of a sharper exchange with her sister over apples, red and green). "Both the turnovers and the apples."
Re: Regina & Quill
"Wait, back up." Quill said. Did I hear that correctly or am I going crazy "Did you say you make the apples?"
Re: Regina & Quill
She turned away to retrieve a plate and a fresh turnover for him without further comment, and then glanced back. "I ripened them just this morning."
Re: Regina & Quill
He was slightly hesitant.
"You know, there's a story about accepting apples from strange women," He said, though smiling. "But that woman's usually an old ugly lady, so I'm probably not going to die, right?"
