Warm Jelly Donut - Open

Clarice still didn't sleep in her room. There were trust issues and decorating taste issues, but she was spending more time at the 'compound' as she called the Inn. Since the inhibitor collar was removed, Clarice's powers had been broken. She was pretty sure it had to do with everything that had happened to her, at least she hoped so.

So far everything that she'd tried to teleport came back split in two, even after she'd visited the places. Sometimes, it wouldn't hold true and fizzle out after a couple of minutes. The frustration was growing and she knew that made it even worse. She could hear John in her ear to concentrate on something you like.

She sat in the lobby, in one of the padded chairs, with a glowing light between her hands and a bunch of tennis balls at her feet. There was a light from the ceiling above, that correlated to the one between her hands. Clarice picked up one of the balls and tossed it through the teleport only to have two halves fall at her feet.

"Warm Jelly Donut."

"Silver works on shape shifters and werewolves." Dean told her easily. "You have to decapitate a vampire, but that was a special bullet with magical properties that could kill anything from a demon to a vampire."

That was a full spectrum of supernatural bad guys.

"Head spinning, split pea soup spitting demons." Dean nodded. Though there really wasn't the head spinning, pea soup type of demons. "I think I'd take people with powers over demons."

"No mostly exercise them since they're in a meat suit and it's not their fault some damn demon took it." At least it was mostly not their fault. "But if that's not an option, decapitation works best with them, too. We save the bullets for higher on the food chain demons."

"Probably not." Dean admitted. "There's a King of Hell, Knights and Demons. Angels are as big of dicks as they are." Except for Castiel (and Anna), Dean wasn't a fan.

That brought him up short. Usually other people didn't have that opinion. "Really? Why?"

"I hear ya." Dean agreed. "That's why I didn't believe in them or God but it's kind of hard to argue they exist when one pulls you out of Hell. Then they just proved they were dicks from their actions."

He relented, "except for the one that pulled me out, Castiel. He didn't have a hidden agenda." They both were soldiers used to following their father's orders. One of the reasons they got along so well.

Normally Dean wouldn't have joked about being in Hell. It wasn't a pleasant memory, but the reference did make him chuckle. "Nice. You know what they say, the fact there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven, says a lot about the anticipated numbers."
