I don't know. Maya pointed out she might not be my daughter. I'm gonna talk to her about it, but there's some other stuff I'm not sure I know how to handle.

She has an inhibitor bracelet I took off. She hasn't talked to me about it a lot, but it really sounds like things aren't safe for anyone with powers when she comes from.

I'm not really sure what to do.

Maybe talk to Clarice and Alec. Both of them grew up in pretty unsafe conditions. They might have some thoughts on how to help her. You might also try the healers to see if any of them have any experience with psychiatry.

Also Regina, Mary, and Lillith have all raised children that I know of, so tap them too.

Do you think she's been abused or experienced trauma, or just lived somewhere dangerous?

I think it's like everything that happened with the mutants. There's this guy, Regent, and I think he's hunting down people with powers? I don't know. It's why I (?) put the bracelet on her.

Alec is acting really weird about this. I don't know if he can help. I might try talking to Clarice first.

It would make sense if you or someone else had put the bracelet on her to hide her power signature. Professor X would probably still be able to find her, but I doubt anyone else would.

How is Alec being weird?

Huh. Well, he didn't have much of a childhood. And seeing her with the bracelet on might've been a painful reminder. I can check in with him.

She really seems to like me. I'm happy, but I feel like I'm eventually just going to let her down somehow.
