Friends take time. He's only been here a few months, and what's that to people who live as long as you do?

I've been here a lot longer, and I only have a few people I consider actual friends.

I wouldn't count Loki in that group (at least not yet), but he has seemed all right the time we've spent together. That said, I have been told I have a high tolerance for assholes people who can be difficult to like.

I'm glad you think he's all right. Loki needs to know that he's not a completely unlikable outcast who will never be loved by anyone.

For the record, personally, I consider people my friends very easily. I like people a great deal. I think most of them are wonderful. And as long as they're good people or try to be, it's pretty easy for me to be friends with them.

It does. Loki believes that no one likes him as a friend. You and the Warriors Three were more my friends than his, and Fandral and Volstagg were sometimes very open about it.

I like to think of him as a friend, but I think it's hard for him to acknowledge people like him because it's scary to open yourself up to people and you can get hurt. I think even if he's protesting, he knows he has people who are his friend deep down inside.

Maybe, but he's an extremely stubborn individual, and it's difficult to get him to believe anything I tell him, hence this post.

I told him he might find friends here when we first met. He chose not to believe me or to try. So I cannot say I consider him a friend.

Nevertheless, I consider you a friend and he is your brother. So if you do not feel about him as I do about my sisters, then there is no reason he could not be my friend. If he wished to.
