If you see a version of me that's a little bit older, it's not one of my hallucinations I swear. It really is me. Apparently older me decided to pay me a visit today. I apologize ahead of time if she's bitchy at you. We had a little WWE bout of stubborn Molly vs. stubborn Winter Lady. I'm sure the shrinks would have a field day with that one but she went off to 'clear her head'. Which is Molly speak for avoiding things until her temper at me goes away.

Heh, I figured there would be a few people whose mind went that way. Trust me, if it was someone else, my mind would have gone down that path.

Yeah, I'm okay. She took me back home to show me that being the Winter Lady isn't as bad as I thought. Then I pointed out that Ragged Lady wasn't that far off the last Winter Lady and that pissed other me off. I think I hit a little too close with that one.

Does future you have less of a sense of humour?

Nah, I think she was just raw and I rubbed salt in that wound. Not that she'd admit it. I'm stubborn like that. :p

I'll be next in line with you on that. I mean I got good information about my future, or I guess possible future, but still I'm good with making whoever was behind it suffer.

Jury's still out on that one, too. Except I think it was. I did get good information. Turns out I don't turn into Darth Vader when I go back - so bonus.

Yeah, sadly not so much. I'm just assuming when because she wouldn't have told me if another version of me took that path. Which means I go back.

Maybe I'll ask if she ever comes back from her sulk.

Neither, exactly. She was me from another reality. Wanted to talk to me about who and what I could be. I think it went well.

Another reality? That must have been cool. Like one of those paths not taken kind of realities?

Not quite? She was me, we even left home at the same time, but she went somewhere else.

She's six years older than me, married, kid.

Holy crap! That must have been weird to see yourself married and a kid. I mean sure good to know, but still weird. Or that's just me.

It was weird. Good, though, too. I've wanted those things since I was a kid. I was starting to think maybe it'd never happen. So it was good. Just I'm also not ready for that yet.

I hear you! So not ready for that responsibility yet either.

A glimpse into the future to see that you're okay with that is good, too. You don't have to worry about be careful what you wish for.

She came to tell me being the Winter Lady isn't as bad as I thought it would be and don't sleep with Carlos. Seriously. I'm not sure I want to know about the second one.

Huh. I wonder why that was so important to know about Carlos.

But it's good to know you don't have to be afraid.

All I can figure is that it was a way to guarantee that I probably will. Tell me not to do something, and I'll do it.

I seemed to be the same. I mean, becoming the Winter Lady didn't make me turn evil, that's a plus, so yeah that was definitely good to know.

I dunno what kind of fuck up we're looking at to make you evil.

It's also just good to know that some people are getting good news.

Unfortunately right before I came to the inn it probably wouldn't have taken much. I was in a dark place, but yeah, definitely good to know.

I guess sometimes the inn can screw with you in a good way.

Nope and it's cool if you want to meet her. I'd want to meet future you, too if he ever came visiting.

I'm surprisingly okay after other me took me on a magical mystery tour. She wanted to show me that I'm a surprisingly well adjusted Winter Lady. Of course, I had a looney tunes before me so the bar was kind of low.

If future me ever comes visiting, it's cool with me if you meet him. Maybe don't... you know, fuck him.

Do you want to talk about what you saw? That's more important to me than meeting her.

As tempting as that would be to compare notes about future you and you, I wouldn't. He isn't you. Future me is me but not me, you know? Like I told Jane, we're our choices and she made different choices than me... well at least I think she did. I guess we'll find out. :)

She had to do something for the greater good that I could tell left her raw. She wouldn't tell me what it was except that I had to make hard choices. No shit, right? Like I haven't already, but seeing my life as the Winter Lady I feel a part of something, I don't know, bigger. Like I have a purpose that I didn't before. Except I see the potential to do something because I think it might be right and that's a slippery slope as a Winter Fae. Sure I have Harry there to make sure I don't go Darth Vader but we both know how stubborn I can be and I'd probably win the stubborn battle with Harry.

Exactly. Besides, I'd hate to be jealous of myself. ;)

If I have anything to say about it, you'll have me and Bo. ...which really doesn't help with the stubborn any. Or the Dr. Doom prospects. Maybe between the three of us we'll have enough perspective to make good choices.

It won't help the stubborn but at least I'll listen to you both, so that's a plus. ;)

Seriously though, I would appreciate all the help ever. The Winter Fae might think otherwise, but too bad. That's how this Winter Lady is going to be.

Whatever our futures are, you'll have my help. I'm not planning on being separated, no matter what this place wants to say about it.

Stubborn seems to run in our relationships. ;) I like it.
