This Deer Was On Fire - OTA
Bo should really keep cooking to the professionals. The thing was, she had been getting so tired of chicken that she was desperate for a steak or something. Dyson had brought in deer meat and she decided she was going to make a steak with some of it - she really was good at burning things.
She walked out of the kitchen that was slightly smokey with a very black and crispy steak. She had hoped the new lighting of the restaurant itself would have give new life to the deer meat, but it didn't. She sunk into a nearby chair and sighed. Maybe there was some meat salvageable on the inside?

Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
Bo sighed. She was surprised to see Loki, but you didn't hang around the Fae without some people popping up here and there. "I know. I'm terrible." She put the plate on the table and glanced at the disaster. "There's a reason I used to order out a lot back home."
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
She looked at the charred meat as if trying to figure it out. "Maybe a little? I kept putting it back in because I wasn't sure it was done." Bo sighed. "I just couldn't deal with chicken again."
Bo looked at Loki for a moment and then made a vague gesture in front of her. "Can't you just... Make a delicious meal appear?" Okay, so she sort of knew that wasn't how it worked for him, but she could still ask.

Re: Bo and Loki
Bo looked at the steak as if considering the option, then exhaled and slumped back against the chair. "No, it's fine. I'll just make a peanut butter sandwich or something." She couldn't mess that up, right?
"Speaking of food, have you met the woman who showed up calling herself Aphrodite?"
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
"I've tried recipes. They don't like me." Like in life, Bo seemed to have a hard time following the rules. Maybe it was just engrained in her.
"I wouldn't say that to Thor or it might become a competition." The thought sort of amused her. "Anyways... I don't know if she's the real deal or not, but let me tell you, she'd have been nice to have around months ago."
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
Oh, she didn't regret what happened. There were times she still definitely craved Loki and she was sure he knew it too, but it was easier to control herself now after the Dawning.
"Especially when so far all she's had to do was kiss me once." Seriously, she had never felt full after a kiss before. It was very strange. "What's you're take on her?" Bo wondered if she was legitimate or not.
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
It was not a surprise for Bo, though her eyes for focused on him. "Specifically focused?"
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
"So you think she should be underestimated." Bo could respect that. Kenzi was often underestimated just because she was human and she kicked ass a lot. "Do you think she's dangerous?"
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
She let out a soft laugh. "Yes. No question about that."
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
"Okay, I'll keep her on my radar and be careful around her." She thought about Dyson, but dismissed the thought. He was happy with Regina, wasn't he? She was happy with Sam and Molly.
Bo refocused on Loki. "So, when's the big day?"
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
"An obviously I'll be your bridesmaid." She was mostly joking - the idea she'd ever be in a wedding party was pretty hard to imagine and she didn't think Loki was going to have that kind of wedding.
"Fun fact though, I almost got married once. White dress and all."
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
That he said she would be on his side actually made her beam. That meant a lot to her, in fact.
"Oh. Well, I lost my memory. Completely forgot who and what I was. The guy I had been dating - a Loki, actually - was infatuated and convinced me we were to get married, so I went along with it. Thankfully Trick stopped it before it was complete or I'd have been stuck with him for one thousand years." She made a face - no thanks.
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
Bo suddenly laughed. Maybe she should have been appalled or something, but she wasn't and she couldn't really help the fact that Loki's suggestion really rather just endeared him more to her. "Maybe, but Ryan wasn't so bad. I mean, he wasn't good for me, either, but he wasn't terrible. Plus murder was probably in the fine print. I'd have probably be hit by lightning or something."
Re: Bo and Loki
yourself after.” Loki shrugged. “For the future, just in case. Murder is always an option.” It wasn’t always the best option, but it never left the table.
Re: Bo and Loki
"I'll keep that in mind as a plan Zed, how about that?" Others might have been upset with the notion, but Bo wasn't really surprised by Loki anymore. "Anyways, you're not allowed to consider it got Valkyrie. I like her." And it wasn't just because she was beautiful and a female Asgardian either.
Re: Bo and Loki
As close to being off the table as it was possible to get, really.
Re: Bo and Loki
It was actually kind of cute and her smile probably said as much. "Plus, I bet if you tried she'd kill you first." It was a tease as much as it was also telling the truth.
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
Bo could tell by the way he spoke about Valkyrie that he was smitten. It was nice to see. It felt like maybe everyone had a chance here. Maybe, she thought, that was why they were here.
"I like that you two have a fish. Start small. I tried a plant once, but it died."
Re: Bo and Loki
Re: Bo and Loki
"I think I might go with pet rock. It seems more my speed. I could name it and everything and if I forget it, it'll just end up holding down some of my papers." It seemed like a win-win to her. "I could even name it after you."
