Summary: Steph has some pent-up aggression about "her friend's" situation with "this guy". She pours it out to the bartender...on the gym mat.

( What I do is call him Pete and punch him in the face, but that's a Kitty-specific strategy. )

On either end of the lobby, there were thin, white-haired young men with their long hair sweeping over their faces as they looked down. They might have even been mistaken for each other at first glance, until a glimpse of skin--one pale, one dark. Neither of them had acknowledged the other in the room; honestly, they'd hardly ever spoken as they made each other slightly uncomfortable and neither was quite sure why.

The pale young man had his head bent over a book as if nothing else in the world existed. Every so often he would push his hair away from his face, or bend forward a bit as if something particularly exciting were happening in the pages. In fact, at some point he actually dropped the book. Alcuin chuckled good naturedly at himself as he straightened so that he could reach down and pick it up.

The dark young man, in contrast, was draped across the chair on the other side of the room, legs swinging over one side. His head was bent as if he was deep in thought, even as at the end of one dangling arm a knife spun between his fingers. Though as soon as the book hit the floor, Fenris' head snapped up and he was immediately at attention as if expecting a threat.

Neither of them had noticed until that moment that someone else had joined them in the lobby.
