Alec was trying to desperately avoid his room lately. Mostly he wasn't sure what was going to happen. Either a tiny red-head that was far too much like Peter could show up at any minute and Alec had no idea how to talk to her - he was pretty sure he'd say something you're not supposed to say to an eight year-old - OR a brunette teenager with a guilt complex would show up and look all sad and apologetic. While Alec could talk to Liz, it was mostly just having to deal with the whole messy situation. He could talk to Peter about it, but trying to help the women in Peter's life was the hardest rubix cube ever invented.
So he saddled up at the bar. Bo just finished her shift and left him with top-shelf whiskey. He had to give the Inn credit where it was due - he'd never be able to afford top shelf unless he stole it from some club. As long as he was stuck here, he'd enjoy the finer things.
He poured himself a tall glass, but left the bottle close in hand. Many refills were going to be needed tonight on his quest not to deal with things.
