[EP] She moved through the fair - OTA

While she had someone to supply her with bullets now, Snow White did not waste her ammunition lightly at the inn. So that there was a shooting gallery at the carnival made her heart do something akin to leap. The BB gun was not Rose Red, was not even very good, but it felt better than sex ever could hitting targets. She fell into a rhythm of girl, gun, and motion so smooth it was like she’d never been forced to stop listening to a gun sing, grinning as she almost never did with fierce joy.
__________
Corbie was still spinning after getting off the teacup ride, or at least her head was. Well, okay, probably walking kind of crooked. At first she hadn’t really understood what to do, until she saw other people scrambling for the wheel at the center of the cup.
Then she’d gone to town.
Probably a little too enthusiastic, given the way her legs wobbled and she collapsed onto a convenient nearby bench, giggling like a giddy kid.
__________
Curnen wasn’t entirely sure what she was eating, but it was something deep fried and delicious. Earlier she’d had a piece of frozen cheesecake—something that had never crossed her mind before and seemed at once like of course she should have considered something so amazing—but even as she regained her humanity she was still something of a bottomless pit.
Bliss would have told her she was going to stop her heart eating this crap, but Curnen didn’t care. Hell, she’d probably find some ride to hop on right after this and maybe throw it all up again, and she didn’t care about that, either. For now, though, she watched people having fun for a change instead of living lives of quiet desperation.
__________
For Sunny, the rides had nothing on the skating. She hadn’t been skating since that day she’d… but no, no she was not going to think about Phouka. That way didn’t lead to anything good. But in any case, it had been years since she’d last strapped on a pair of skates. At first there’s been some clumsiness as she tried and momentarily failed to remember the feel of it—at least one fall on her ass she hoped no one had been paying attention to—but it wasn’t long before she got the hang of it again. And then she was fair flying across the ice, legs pumping like a well-oiled machine. She whooped like a kid and tried to go even faster.
She might take an epic tumble on the ice, but that didn’t intimidate her in the slightest.
(Four-way EP because why the hell not. Please specify which girl you're tagging in subject line.)
