[GP] Shoot that poison arrow

None of the guests noticed when the spiky-haired man-child in jeans and purple t-shirt, wrists wrapped in cheap leather and metal bracelets, arrived at the Madonna Inn a few hours before midnight on February 13. That, in itself, wasn't all that surprising. Eros, otherwise known as Danny Valentine, had millennia of experience doing his job without being spotted.

What was surprising was that the dude at the front desk did see him. Tall and Nondescript waved him over and then gave him a room number 'in case you wanted to rest'. But Danny didn't.

Want to, or rest. He spent the time before the clock struck midnight polishing his love gun. Not like that. He'd find a girl to spend his nameday with. He always did. No, this little beauty was made by Hephaestus himself. It shot love darts that disappeared on contact.

At midnight, kitted out with more love darts than there were people in this pink and gold monstrosity, Danny left his room and shot the first person he saw--and didn't wait to see what would happen.

No point getting a slow start. He had a lot of work to do.

Molly gave a quick and short nod, understanding what he was saying. "Thanks. On the upside, I'm also feeling all the guilt from a lot of people so that helps keep the libido in check." She mentally tightened the shield, wrapping it around her.

"So, white court. They are amazingly hot." She shot him a quick grin. "I know, hard to tell with so many in the hotel, present company included, but they really, really stand out as can't take your eyes off them and you want to rip their clothes off. Back home, they run a big porn production in Hollywood and have this club in Chicago. Not quite a sex club but pretty damn close. I have my suspicions that they can feed on lust through the Internet, too but it's only my sick twisted mind that thinks so."

"That's not that weird. Tulpas are created by thought energy and they can be fed through the internet." But these white court vampires sounded a lot more hands on. A different kind of dangerous. "So do you have a working theory? Because this doesn't seem like an efficient way to feed. Why not inspire a mass orgy?" Not that he wanted that to happen, but it made much more sense than picking them off one at a time.

Molly cocked her head as she looked at Sam. "It sounds innocent enough, but it's not. It's an addiction and the people that get fed on want more and then more and then more." She thought of Justine. "They take the life energy, it's not just lust, that's the trap. Death by sex." She smiled slightly, not humorous at all. "Think about if a White Court seduced someone in power, the power behind the throne. Or you know, the power behind the hotel, if there is one. My guess is whichever White court is behind this is just creating chaos as a way to feed but also to begin the power struggle. They are very long game thinkers."

Sam nodded and jerked his chin toward a door. "Let's get going. We've got a lot of ground to cover." Besides, " I've been kissed more than five times, and I don't feel tired." Physically, anyway. "Just annoyed. So, it's probably better we don't get locked in to one theory. If we're looking for White Court, we're going to miss anything else." And Sam thought a witch or some kind of petty revenge magic was just as likely.
