After a week getting settled and starting to heal, Piotr began to take advantage of the other new world he had access to. On one of his quick trips, he learned that there would be a festival celebrating the arts the next day and decided that it was the perfect time to start drawing again.
So, when the time came in only took a few minutes to find some pencils and scrap paper at the Inn, load a bag with food, and head off into the city. The sights and sounds were easy to get lost in on a normal day, but the added bursts of art and creativity filled him with inspiration in a way he'd never experienced.
Finding a free bench, he settled down and started to draw the festival and its participants. To his surprise, a few people even paid him for his work. Hours passed as he worked on piece after piece and made small talk with those who approached.
And he was happier than he'd been in ages.
